Abolishment of traffic limit

In agreement with the ZIH we made the decision to abolish the traffic limit.

In order to maintain an excellent service quality for all of our members, we continue monitoring the traffic consumption. If one disturbs the network usage of other members, we will consequently disable the network access of that person.

Original (2018-08-24): Leider besitzt unser neues Nutzerverwaltungssystem Pycroft noch fehlende Funktionen. Aktuell wird das Trafficguthaben dadurch nicht um die zu erwartenden, täglichen 10GiB erhöht.
Dein Traffic wird sich immer weiter verringern! Daher sperren wir aktuell auch keine Mitglieder bei Trafficüberschreitung.

Wir arbeiten bereits an der Behebung des Fehlers und bitten um Verständnis!
Falls du uns helfen und in der AGDSN aktiv werden willst, dürfte dies für dich Interessant sein.

Update (2018-12-04): Der Fehler ist immer noch vorhanden. Wir informieren euch, sobald er gelöst ist.

Update (2019-01-22): Mit der Abschaffung des Trafficlimits ist die Funktionalität der Trafficberechnung irrelevant geworden.

Anstehender Netzausfall in der Wundtstraße 5

Am Samstag und Sonntag, den 5. und 6. Januar 2019 werden wir in der Wundtstraße 5 einen Datenschrank austauschen.

Dabei wird es ab ca. 10:00 Uhr Vormittags zu Ausfällen der Netzwerkanbindung in den Etagen 1 bis 5 kommen.

Solltet ihr am Montag noch Probleme feststellen, dann meldet euch bitte über unser Kontaktformular.

No office hours over the holiday break

Beginning with the 2018-12-21 there will be no office hours until 2019-01-06. The AG DSN takes a break for the holidays.

Upcoming network outage at Budapester Straße

On Sunday, 2018-12-02, we will renew the network cabling in the dormitories Budapester Straße 22 & 24.

This will cause network outages starting at around 10 a.m.

Update (2018-12-04 13:45): Occasionally, it still came to failures today, but these should now be resolved.
