Am Samstag, den 28.07. werden wir Änderungen an der Glasfaserverkabelung im Zelleschen Weg vornehmen, dabei könnte es zu kurzzeitigen Ausfällen kommen.
Aktuell haben wir einen Ausfall der Switch in der 5. Etage der Borsbergstraße 34 zu verzeichnen. Aus diesem Grund kommt es in diesem Gebäude derzeit zu Netzwerkstörungen. Wir arbeiten bereits an dem Problem und haben es schon fast behoben.
Update: Die ausgefallene Switch wurde ausgetauscht. Damit sollten die Netzwerkprobleme aufgehört haben.
Due to the new European General Data Protection Regulation we had to split up and revise our forms. Up to this point the new versions of the membership application, services form and moving notification were only available in German.
Now the services form and moving notification are available in English, too, so you do not have to use the German version anymore.
Since the membership application form is basically the written contract between our members and the AG DSN, we want its translation to be legally verified before deploying it. Thus, you can not use it to apply for membership at the moment. However, to make filling in the German version easier for you, we added the current English translation as a reference to our help sheet (on page 2): universally – for Gerokstraße – for Hochschulstraße

Due to the expansion of the Studentenwerk owned fiber network, we could connect the dormitory Gerokstraße 38 over fiber to our core network. With this change we increased the uplink bandwidth to 10 Gbit/s, so also the members in Gerokstraße can use the full speed concurrently.
